Somatic Integration Therapy
for pain patterns, posture, and nervous system reset

A precise blend of Structural Integration, Trigger Point Therapy, Table Thai techniques, and orthopedic-style bodywork designed to reduce chronic holding, restore mobility, and help your body keep the change.

15+ years hands-on experience • Limited weekly availability • Book ahead recommended

Is this for you?

If you want deep work with precision — not a generic spa massage — you’re in the right place.

  • Neck/shoulder tension, upper trap holding, desk-work posture
  • Low back tightness, hip imbalance, sciatica-like patterns
  • Training aches, repetitive strain, “always braced” body patterns
  • Stress holding + difficulty fully relaxing
  • You want an ongoing rhythm (weekly/biweekly) so results compound

What makes it different

  • Structural lens: we follow patterns through the whole body — not just the sore spot.
  • Integrative tools: targeted release + mobility + integration so it holds.
  • Somatic regulation: downshift the system so your body stops gripping and guarding.

Goal: reduce tension patterns, improve range of motion, and support long-term resilience.

What clients say

“I felt looser immediately — but the difference that surprised me was how calm my whole body felt afterward.”

— Jaime

“This isn’t a spa massage. It’s precise, deep, and you can tell she understands the whole chain.”

— Veronica

“I’ve tried everything for my neck/shoulders — this is the first work that actually held between sessions.”

— Matt

About the practitioner

Mercedes Diaz, LMT, MMP

I’m Mercedes Diaz, a bodyworker with over 15 years of hands-on experience, 3+ years teaching massage therapy, and the founder of Cryohub. My work blends Structural Integration, trigger point therapy, medical massage, and integrative somatic techniques.

My approach combines precise structural work with nervous system regulation — so your body doesn’t just release, it learns how to hold itself differently over time.

Sessions take place in Back Bay on Newbury Street and are intentionally limited to preserve quality, continuity, and long-term results.

FAQ

Is this painful?
It can be deep, but it should feel productive — not aggressive. We work within your nervous system tolerance so results hold.
How many sessions do people usually do?
Many clients start weekly or biweekly for a short phase, then shift to maintenance. We’ll recommend a cadence based on your patterns.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable. You’ll be draped appropriately. If we use movement-based assessment, athletic wear can be helpful.
Do you take insurance?
Typically no. You can request a receipt if you use HSA/FSA or submit out-of-network (check your plan).
What’s your cancellation policy?
Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.

This policy helps preserve availability and ensures fair access to limited session times.
