Frequently Asked Questions

You asked, we answered.

What is CryoSkin?
CryoSkin is a revolutionary machine from Italy that uses heat and cold to reduce fat cells and tone/tighten skin. The technology is applied using a massage technique, which is painless and non-invasive. No suction, no surgery. Just incredible results.

What is the difference between Cryohub and CryoSkin?
Cryohub is the name of our company. CryoSkin is the name of the device we use to perform Cryotherapy treatments.

What is the difference between CryoSlimming, CryoToning, and Endospheres Therapy?

CryoSlimming destroys fat cells, causing you to lose inches, all in 30 - 40 minutes. During a CryoSlimming session, the skin is warmed then rapidly cooled. Results are immediate with an average loss of .5”-1” per treatments,  but we recommend 5-10 sessions for the best results.

CryoToning reduces cellulite. Cold temperatures widen the blood vessels, increasing oxygen supply. This boosts collagen production, which breaks down cellulite, leaving you with smooth, dimple free skin. While this treatment is highly effective to reduce dimpling and smoothing skin, regular maintenance is required to keep up with the results.

Endosphères Therapy is a technology that uses an innovative Compressive Microvibration system, a treatment that, through a roller device composed of 55 silicon spheres, generates low-frequency mechanical vibrations. This acts on improving local blood circulation and lymphatic drainage, reducing the appearance of cellulite.

What are the benefits of CryoSlimming or CryoToning?
The benefits are measurable fat loss and improved skin appearance. As with most techniques, the results vary from one individual to another, however 78% of our customers rate the service as good or excellent. The expected effect is usually rapid, results should be visible immediately and many people continue to see improvements over a 2 to 3-week period.

Are these results permanent?
CryoSlimming results are permanent because fat cells are destroyed during the treatment. If clients are not sustaining a healthy lifestyle, and gain weight, the fat cells that haven’t been destroyed can still expand. This is comparable to being active in the gym paired with healthy eating, liposuction, or any other weight loss method - if you do not sustain the results through diet and exercise, you will expand the fat cells around the area treated resulting in poor results.

How much does it cost?
Single session prices:

CryoSlimming: $350 per treatment
CryoToning: $350 per treatment
CryoFacial: $250 per treatment
Endospheres Therapy: $150 per treatment

Membership information (that can help you save over 50% per month) can be found here.

Is the first treatment really free?
Yes, the first treatment is free for new clients. We do require a credit card to hold your first appointment, but that is simply because we have a 24 hour cancellation policy with a no show fee of $30.

I have a medical condition. Can I still do this?
Medical conditions most times will not affect the likelihood of you being able to do the treatment (except in severe cases), however, we ask you to let your Technician know prior to starting your treatments to make sure you fit our requirements. We always ask that if you are concerned, that you check with your doctor prior to starting treatments.

What is the difference between CryoSkin and CoolSculpting?
The difference is in the procedure and the price. CoolSculpting is a fat-freezing method that involves attaching vacuum-like paddles to various areas of the body. These paddles suction to fat areas and cool them, eventually making these areas of your body feel numb. CoolSculpting sessions can require you to sit with these suction paddles on your body for up to two hours and can cause mild discomfort. One treatment causes very minimal differences and CoolSculpting requires multiple sessions to see results. Our treatment involves the CryoSkin 3.0 and 4.0 devices that are used to destroy fat cells using a massage technique at ⅓ of the cost of  CoolSculpting, which means if you need more treatments, it ends up costing a lot less to get the results you are looking for. In addition to cost, CryoSkin's application is much more comfortable.

How many sessions until I see the results?
This will depend upon how many areas you would like to focus on. In general, we recommend 5-10 sessions for optimal results.

Does it hurt?
The treatment is painless, with some clients describing it as rather pleasant. This is due to the non-invasive application and the gradual decrease in temperature.

Are there side effects?
There are no side effects for the vast majority. A very small number of clients have reported pins and needles or muscle soreness after a session and subsides within 48 hours.

How exactly does it work?
The procedure performed is Cryolipolysis , a method intended to remove fat by freezing. It involves controlled application of cooling within the temperature range of -4.5 to +4 °C for the localized reduction of fat deposits, intended to reshape the contours of the body. The degree of exposure to cooling causes cell death of subcutaneous fat tissue, without apparent damage to the overlying skin.  While the fat cells freeze, the skin and other structures are spared from injury. Learn more about the science behind CryoSkin on our “The Science Behind the Treatment” coming soon.

Are there any clinical studies that support this treatment?
Yes, there are several clinical studies that support Cryolipolysis and Cryoskin. This clinical study was shown to reduce subcutaneous fat at the treatment site by up to 25% after one treatment. Improvements were seen in 86% of treated subjects. At 73%, the patient satisfaction rate is higher than with other technologies used for noninvasive lipolysis. Cryolipolysis has been proven to be a very safe method for body contouring, and is accomplished with only minimal discomfort.
